Add in the absurd mana cost (mitigated by things like Elvish Piper, of course... not to mention Quicksilver Amulet and a whole slew of other cards that can let you put it into play in exactly the same way), while cool for comboing off of a card that counts CMC for an effect, makes it basically untutorable with effects that compare CMC (of course Demonic Tutor, and it's slightly more balanced cousin Diabolic Tutor, can always find any card, but still, a lot of tutoring effects do care about CMC).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889604442512373664.post-77441889916474018752009-02-13T07:05:00.000-08:002009-02-13T07:05:00.000-08:00I'm sure Wrath of God has spawned its share of rul...I'm sure Wrath of God has spawned its share of rules questions, "My creature has protection from White, does it still die from Wrath of God?" Protection is a tricky keyword and it would be great if it were easier to understand.

DEBT, protection means the creature cannot be damaged, enchanted, blocked, or targeted by sources it has protection from.Forgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15838286606081721333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889604442512373664.post-28517786537880711582009-02-12T13:44:00.000-08:002009-02-12T13:44:00.000-08:00Thank goodness it still dies to global effects. :)...Thank goodness it still dies to global effects. :) Wrath of God for the win :DGando the Wandering Foolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11853286404078430074noreply@blogger.com
