I got an e-mail from Sourceforge saying that my project will be up on Monday, January 7 at http://sourceforge.net/projects/cardwarrior It's a lame name I know, but I couldn't think of anything else as catchy. I wanted to renamed my program Magic Forge, but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to use the word Magic.
Anyways, my project may or may not be up on Monday we'll see. I'll probably have more news Tuesday or Wednesday. --Forge

Outstanding!! I look forward to it.
Again, it is utterly and completely impossible that they have copyrighted usage of the word 'magic'. Unless you feel really obligated to get this up and running as soon as possible, just name it Magic Forge. And if they try to pull anything, then send a full report to a copyright watchdog group. If the story ends up on boingboing, those egotisical maniacs will finally get the ridicule they deserve.
Well things went ok, the Sourceforge site is up and running.
It is not possible to copyright "Magic" word, you can name yourself "Magic Johnson", or name your furniture making company "Apple". The context is very important and card game named "Magic" can be acknowledged by judge as infringement.
